Poised to Lead in Green Technology Materials

9 December 2024 – Vancouver, BC

MaxPure Critical Minerals Ltd. (MCML), a trailblazer in advancing Canada’s critical minerals industry, has reached a significant milestone in its journey to lead the critical minerals revolution. On 4 December 2024, the company secured four additional mineral claims from the Province of British Columbia, adding 7.74 square kilometers to its flagship Valhalla Graphite Resource. This acquisition expands Valhalla’s total project area from 41.98 square kilometers to a commanding 49.83 square kilometers.

This strategic expansion underscores MaxPure’s emergence as a key player in North America’s critical minerals landscape, particularly in the exploration and development of organic-grade flake graphite—a vital material for clean energy technologies, electric vehicles, and advanced manufacturing. The enhanced Valhalla project aligns with global efforts to secure sustainable resource supply chains amid soaring demand for critical minerals, positioning MaxPure as a pivotal contributor to the green energy revolution.

A Transformational Acquisition to Meet Surging Demand

The new claims build on exceptional results from MaxPure’s 2024 exploration program, which uncovered a rich and diverse profile of critical minerals at Valhalla. Highlights include significant deposits of flake graphite, molybdenum, and rare earth elements such as lanthanum, cesium, yttrium, and europium. These discoveries validate Valhalla's extraordinary potential and underscore its strategic importance in addressing the global energy transition.

Geological studies revealed that Valhalla's graphite deposit originates from the metamorphism of anthracite coal, a natural process transforming coal into mineral-grade graphite. Precision modeling of the deposit, integrating strike, dip, and plunge data, provides MaxPure with a cutting-edge framework for resource development and operational planning. By securing additional mineral claims, MaxPure strengthens its capacity to supply high-quality, sustainably sourced graphite, reinforcing its standing as a leader in critical minerals exploration.

2025 Roadmap: Scaling Valhalla’s Potential

Building on its 2024 successes, MaxPure is advancing an ambitious exploration and development agenda for 2025, aimed at establishing Valhalla as a world-class graphite resource. Key initiatives include:

  • Diamond Drilling and Trenching: Comprehensive assessments across an 11 km x 3 km deposit to determine seam thickness, continuity, and geotechnical parameters.

  • Resource Definition: Advanced geological modeling to refine resource estimates and establish an Inferred Resource classification.

  • Sustainability and Community Engagement: Strengthened collaboration with First Nations and local communities to ensure environmentally responsible and equitable development.

These initiatives are designed to meet the growing demand for critical minerals in renewable energy storage, electric mobility, and cutting-edge technologies, driving both economic and environmental progress.

MaxPure: A Vision for a Sustainable Future

MaxPure is guided by a singular vision: to power a sustainable future through the ethical and efficient development of critical mineral resources. The company prioritizes innovation, sustainability, and community equity to ensure its projects deliver lasting benefits.

Its flagship Valhalla Graphite Resource, located 54 kilometers northwest of Nelson, BC, is strategically positioned as a cornerstone of clean energy supply chains. With deposits of organic-grade flake graphite and rare earth elements, Valhalla represents a critical link in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Looking Ahead: 2025 and Beyond

MaxPure’s long-term vision includes:

  • Expanding exploration efforts across the full 49.83 square kilometers of the Valhalla resource.

  • Developing high-grade, sustainable mineral production technologies.

  • Forging global partnerships to secure funding, market access, and technological collaboration.

  • Strengthening its role as a thought leader in sustainable mining practices and community engagement.

Equity Through Community Participation and Engagement
